Court Reporting = biting my nails. The House Wine.
Tuesday, February 12, 2008      |     Court Reporting At the House
Biting my nails. Court reporting (my day job that pays the bills) has slowed down to a crawl. Shout out to all the deposition reporters out there. What's going on? I'm thinking it's the economy and I know that things always pick up, but this slowdown has been ridiculous. Will take a job at Fresh & Easy soon. I've gotten to love that place, by the way. The food quality has been very good. My son loves the free samples and his goal each time we go is to see just how many samples he can try. They're very good about it. Am sensitive to the fact they may not think this is endearing behavior, but so far they've been really cool about it.
The house wine is not bad, gives 2-buck Chuck a run for the money (and we love 2-buck Chuck). The freshly-made burritos are very good and less than you'd pay for comparable fast food. This store is great for a quick in and out and the prices are very fair. I've managed to avoid shopping at Vons since we started shopping there two months ago (and that is a very good thing). Oh, the self check-out machines are the best I've ever used. No problem at all. And if you don't want to use them, one of the workers will check out for you. Don't let me forget the fresh flowers. I bought a bouquet of some sort of lilies last week for $4 and it still looks good. And one last thing. Very easy to bring your own bags, plus they have reusable grocery bags available for purchase. I keep one in my car.
